Overall, Captain Gutt is an iconic villain from the Ice Age franchise who will forever be remembered for his unique personality and menacing presence. The animators did an excellent job capturing the physical characteristics and behaviors of this ancient primate in their creation of Captain Gutt. He has long arms, thin legs, sharp teeth, and beady eyes – all features that are seen in the fossil record of this extinct species.
